Really Impressed Can't say enough good things about McLeran roofing. They did some work for me in the past that I was happy with. But I was REALLY impressed by their responsiveness when a skylight started leaking on Sunday (of course!) and they had their guys out here by 9:30 am on Monday. And this happened on the Monday before Christmas! I recommend them highly.

First On My list! I had a leak in my roof at the first rain of the season (and prior to the upcoming bomb cyclone!) and Sara had a team out here the very next day. She explained pricing, warranty and timing upfront. I'm very pleased with the results (no more leak) and their service and they will be the first on my list next time I have some roofing work to be done!

Highly recommend! Had our roof re-done in 2015. Work was done ahead of schedule with no leaks or problems (1.5 years at time of this writing). Recently though, we found a leak in one of our rooms; when we called McLeran, they quickly sent someone out to investigate. They discovered that the source of the leak was an old window (unrelated to their roof work). They referred me to a contractor to help me get the window fixed. They are prompt with phone as well as e-mail communication. I've been very happy with their service! Highly recommend!

Sara Lopez, who ran McLeran's business office for many years, recently got her contractor's license and took over the business. Her husband, Martin, is the foreman.
Sara and I talked for months getting all the particulars straight: figuring out style, color, and how it would all go down. I really appreciated a woman's understanding of my concerns and attention to detail, as re-roofing can be messy business.
We had no plywood sheeting and crumbling tiles on the old roof, and I could imagine all too well the mess I was in for. Sara had solutions!
On tear off day, multiple trucks arrived. I was at work, but neighbors all said the McLeran team was both respectful and quiet.
In 3 1/2 days of dealing with the multiple levels of our roof, the team tore off, placed all new plywood sheeting and installed our beautiful new roof. Each night they cleaned up, gathering up their tools and storing them out of sight.
After completion they left us with a bundle of shingles in case we needed to patch something down the road, as colors change every few years. I consider myself as strong, but I couldn't even budge the one bundle. The guys on the McLeran team carried one and sometimes two bundles on their backs, bounding across ladder bridges between our multiple roofs. They were truly amazing!!
They were also competitive in pricing.
We chose Presidential TL, Autumn Blend, and we couldn't be happier!!

Great Service McLeran Roofing has been in Marin for many years and is well known for providing an above “the industry standard” roofing installation and great client service. Brian McLeran is a stand up man that could retire anytime but continues his roofing business because he loves what he and his family have done for so long.

Incredible experience McLeran Roofing provided us with an incredible experience. I replaced my roof in conjunction with the roof of the adjacent townhome, which had sustained such damage that certain areas of their ceiling were sagging. An initial review of the roofing project (by a building inspector) yielded some solutions that were going to require extensive interior changes. Brian McLeran carefully listened to my concerns about the interior work, then came up with a creative solution that didn't involve interior changes at all. Additionally, Sara (McLeran's administrator) was very efficient and prompt with all communication. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Promise Kept Just now paid the bill on our new garage roof. McLeran showed up as promised... completed the job on time… came back next day to make sure we were satisfied.

Quick Service This review covers our new roof (installed June 2018) and our experience with Brian McLeran over several years, doing inspections of the previous 30-year-old roof. First - Brian won't sell you something you don't need. We have appreciated his honest evaluations. Second - Brian takes the necessary time to review the job site and protect mature landscaping. Brian and his crew managers walked our property three separate times before starting work to set up protocols for minimizing damage. Third - when there is an issue (a clogged downspout we noticed after the first heavy rain) the office manager, Sara, facilitates a quick service call to get the problem solved. The recent roofing job (house and garage) took two days, with a lot of people working. They were all polite and professional. We are completely satisfied.
