Totally Impressed A serious roof leak made itself explicitly evident during this spring's rains, and I consider myself lucky to have discovered McLeran Roofing as a result. Brian McLeran came out to inspect the roof and locate the leak. When he called with his findings, he asked me whether I had any proficiency with tools, then walked me through how I could put together a stop-gap repair on my own until I was ready to replace the roof. Free advice, no pressure. I knew the roof was near the end of its economic life. Sure, I figured I might have been able to get another year out of it thanks to Brian's advice, but it was a matter of time, and it wasn't going to get any cheaper. So I called McLeran again for a quote. Totally reasonable, and honest! When Brian had been over to assess the condition of the roof, he identified a portion that was still in decent shape and had a few years of life in it. Communication was exceptional during the course of the two-day job. Brian called the first day to confirm a few things, and again on the second day just to let me know that everything was going exactly as he had anticipated it would, and that there were "no surprises." There is very little that
could be more reassuring to a homeowner than to hear a contractor say that things are going smoothly. The crew did a great job, and the property was left clean and tidy on both days they were here. After everything wrapped up, Brian even came back to walk the job, inspect everything that was done, and to answer any questions I had. I was totally impressed with McLeran's work, and their customer service is a rare and appreciated bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Felt like we were old friends... McLearn Roofing was wonderful, a joy to work with. Sara, who runs the office, was personable, efficient and kept the project on track. She also taught me a lot about roofing. Martine, who runs the crew, was on it, inspecting the crews work and keeping me apprised of what was happening. Their pricing was competitive and the bidding process was easy. Martine gave me some tips on how to deal with achy joints which was a bonus!

I felt like we were old friends by the end of the project. I can't say enough good things about McLeran Roofing.

Most reputable firms in the business We were referred by our realtor to McLeran as we were putting our home on the market. He assured us that McLeran is one of the most reputable firms in the business. He was right! We were pleased with their inspection and with the suggestions for some minor repairs. They were on time, courteous, professional communicative, priced fairly and they delivered on their promise. We highly recommend them for all of your roofing needs.

Great Reputation McLeran Roofing has a great reputation. Will give a free estimate. Brian McLeran, the owner, does the estimating. Super nice guy with lots of ties to the community. Brian is also the regional roofing expert for the California State Contractors License Board (CSLB) – so that should say something about his level of professionalism and reliability.

Highly Recommend I needed my roof replaced for my house in Sausalito. McLeran Roofing had the best price and by far the best service. Family owned and operated company that continues to have full pride in their work. I absolutely love my roof. The job was quick, clean and they had no problems working with another contractor who installed the skylights at the same time. Highly recommend McLeran Roofing!

This company is top notch! This Company is top notch. They did an excellent job. The workers were courteous, happy and accommodating. The expertise was excellent. They arrived at 7:30 am or so, worked extremely fast and finished in 2 days. Adam was their supervisor and he did an excellent job of having materials arrive on time and explaining every day exactly what was happening. McLeran Roofing is fair in pricing and using quality material.

Strongly Recommend After doing a thorough review of the roofing contractors around Marin, we selected McLeran. Brian was, by far, the most thorough in his approach to the bid, and it is very clear his broad and deep experience in roofing will result in a roof that will last. He patiently answered my most basic questions about everything from the materials we were considering to the workmanship and components, and it was the blend of his knowledge, honesty and the thoroughness of his approach led us to select his company for a full new roof. I'll post a follow-up once the new roof is on, but if you're having a new roof installed (or an old one repaired), I strongly recommend going with McLeran.
