Mr. McLeran Thank you for completing the job on my house. We were on vacation and when we returned, we were happy to see the job completed very effectively. Responsive, Compassionate, Ethical and Moral. Brian McLeran runs a business that is responsive, compassionate, ethical, and moral. He looks out for his clients as well as his men and has a long history of charitable work. He has gone above and beyond in helping me manage a difficult roofing situation and I trust him completely--something I can't say about almost any other business I've encountered in the last number of years. Can't recommend highly enough.

Not enough positive adjectives There are not enough positive adjectives to say how much I appreciated the professional, timely, friendly and COMPETENT roofing job on our house by McLeran Roofing. I have had a lot of work done on my house this year -- new garage doors, painting, front door repair, etc etc and McLeran stands out head and shoulders above all these people. Not only did my roof get replaced when they promised, but it looks fantastic. When I struggled to decide on which shingles to use, Sara from the office gave me addresses of other jobs they have done that used the shingles I was considering so I could see it in person. That so helped me visualize what the shingles would look like on my house. Also when they saw a problem with my chimney, they pointed it out and recommended people to solve the problem who did not charge me an arm and a leg. Brian, the owner, is down to earth and it is obvious that he knows what he is doing. Sara who runs the office is friendly and gets back to you promptly. There were other roofing companies that I called for estimates and they never even returned my calls!!! I would highly recommend McLeran Roofing!!! I wish more people out there would match their competence and professionalism!!!!!

I also asked my long time clients for recommendations. More often than not the name, "McLeran Roofing" came up, and numerous people said, "And I used them in my last house, too". Sara Lopez, who ran McLeran's business office for many years, recently got her contractor's license and took over the business. Her husband, Martin, is the foreman.
Sara and I talked for months getting all the particulars straight: figuring out style, color, and how it would all go down. I really appreciated a woman's understanding of my concerns and attention to detail, as re-roofing can be messy business.
We had no plywood sheeting and crumbling tiles on the old roof, and I could imagine all too well the mess I was in for. Sara had solutions!
On tear off day, multiple trucks arrived. I was at work, but neighbors all said the McLeran team was both respectful and quiet.
In 3 1/2 days of dealing with the multiple levels of our roof, the team tore off, placed all new plywood sheeting and installed our beautiful new roof. Each night they cleaned up, gathering up their tools and storing them out of sight.
After completion they left us with a bundle of shingles in case we needed to patch something down the road, as colors change every few years. I consider myself as strong, but I couldn't even budge the one bundle. The guys on the McLeran team carried one and sometimes two bundles on their backs, bounding across ladder bridges between our multiple roofs. They were truly amazing!!
They were also competitive in pricing.
We chose Presidential TL, Autumn Blend, and we couldn't be happier!!

We recently had our roof replaced by McLaren Roofing of San Rafael. On a scale of 10, they are way beyond! Sara (the office administrator and president of the company) and her husband Martin, the project manager, are a dynamic duo who leave no detail overlooked. When Martin came to our home in June to assess the job, I asked him how soon they could come, and he replied that they were fully booked until November--but that they "might" be able to squeeze us in earlier: the job was finished in 3 days in August! Sara was extremely helpful in selecting color. We chose to go with a high end heat reflecting shingle that is difficult to find, She and Martin were able to put together a package from two different sources. Their crack team were experienced and knew what they were doing. Most of them had been with the company for a number of years. The men are obviously treated well, and it shows in the quality of their workmanship. At the end of each of their three days here, they meticulously cleaned up debris in the yard and surrounding area. McLaren Roofing is highly recommended!!

Totally Impressed A serious roof leak made itself explicitly evident during this spring's rains, and I consider myself lucky to have discovered McLeran Roofing as a result. Brian McLeran came out to inspect the roof and locate the leak. When he called with his findings, he asked me whether I had any proficiency with tools, then walked me through how I could put together a stop-gap repair on my own until I was ready to replace the roof. Free advice, no pressure. I knew the roof was near the end of its economic life. Sure, I figured I might have been able to get another year out of it thanks to Brian's advice, but it was a matter of time, and it wasn't going to get any cheaper. So I called McLeran again for a quote. Totally reasonable, and honest! When Brian had been over to assess the condition of the roof, he identified a portion that was still in decent shape and had a few years of life in it. Communication was exceptional during the course of the two-day job. Brian called the first day to confirm a few things, and again on the second day just to let me know that everything was going exactly as he had anticipated it would, and that there were "no surprises." There is very little that
could be more reassuring to a homeowner than to hear a contractor say that things are going smoothly. The crew did a great job, and the property was left clean and tidy on both days they were here. After everything wrapped up, Brian even came back to walk the job, inspect everything that was done, and to answer any questions I had. I was totally impressed with McLeran's work, and their customer service is a rare and appreciated bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Most reputable firms in the business We were referred by our realtor to McLeran as we were putting our home on the market. He assured us that McLeran is one of the most reputable firms in the business. He was right! We were pleased with their inspection and with the suggestions for some minor repairs. They were on time, courteous, professional communicative, priced fairly and they delivered on their promise. We highly recommend them for all of your roofing needs.

Highly Recommend I needed my roof replaced for my house in Sausalito. McLeran Roofing had the best price and by far the best service. Family owned and operated company that continues to have full pride in their work. I absolutely love my roof.
